This granite seam repair course is a comprehensive overview of completing seam repairs.

What you will learn:

  • How to repair a counter length seam
  • How to repair a seam in front of sink
  • How to reset the seam
  • How to inject the seam with a flowing adhesive
  • How to grind the seam even
  • How to refinish and repolish the repair to blend in with the rest of the counter

There are three different repairs shown throughout this video series each with their own unique challenges. The information here can be translated to completing a number of granite repairs such as crack repairs and are not limited exclusively to seams.

These repairs are also completed on 3cm material. This is significant because in some parts of the country it is still common to install 2cm granite on top of a plywood sub-top. Though some students will run into the thinner material on a sub-top the techniques taught here can be used on any installation type.

Once you've completed this course you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle any number of granite repairs.
